1. Rajeev Smriti Van

Location –This jungle is located at  12 km away from Raipur Chhattisgarh.

Built in memory of Former Prime Minister LT. Rajeev Gandhi, this place is a unique Ex- situ conservation site. Built over a huge area of 14 acres, this Van was developed to create public awareness towards conservation of Nature.

Highlights – The unique feature of Rajeev Smriti Van is that everything over here runs on Solar Energy, this is a must visit place mainly if you are travelling with your kids. It gives a marvellous view and explains about the nature, trees and environment. Once you are completely done exploring this Van, you can visit the nearby attractions like Balaji Temple, Bastar, Arang, Champaran and Bhilai

Open time  – open for public from 8AM to 6.30PM on all days.

2.Purkhauti Muktangan

Location- It is situated in Naya Raipur of Chhattisgarh and is 19Km away from Raipur city.
Opening time – Open on all days from 7AM to 6PM

Purkhauti Muktangan is developed by the Cultural Department of Chhattisgarh Government and is spread over a huge 18 hectare of land. It exhibits the entire natural resources with existing industries and infrastructures.

Highlights – The building is a sole tourist attraction spot as it captured a place in the VISION 2020. This is a nice place to understand the culture of the local tribes and gives a lot of knowledge to the kids. Everything is available inside the premises, so you and your family can roam around and explore the place leisurely; the key highlight is that you can see the Whole of Chhattisgarh under one roof at this theme park cum museum, catch the glimpse of models like Kawardha, Folk dance model and Jagdalpur forest at this gallery.

3.MM Fun city raipur
Located on an expanse of huge acres of land,  The MM Fun City is located on the Baktara Godhi Road at Raipur

Highlights – The Fun City boasts of its various Fun water slides, rain dance, kid’s zone, restaurant, wave pool and family pool. The Cluster of water rides available over here will in various shapes and models will make your ride delightful. The other popular draws are the rain dance, banquet, restaurant and Lawns. When you and family get tired you can take rest in the AC rooms, and be secured as you can store your belongings in the safe locks provided by the authorities. 4. Barnawapara wildlife sanctuary 

Location – This richly vegetated unique wildlife sanctuary is 100Kms away from Raipur and 45kms away from Mahasamund City
Situated in the Northern part of Mahasamund district, the wildlife sanctuary was established during 1976 on a huge area of 245 Sq.km. The sanctuary is a huge hit and ranks the seventh position in the popular attractions of Raipur.

Highlights – Lying on a flat and terrain area, the sanctuary gives shelter to number of Tigers, leopards, porcupine, pythons, antelopes, bison and many other species. As you walk in through the muddy paths, parrots, herons, egrets, black bucks, porcupines, monkeys, pea fowl and other species are sure to catch your attention, and you are sure to get surprised by seeing the barking deers. 

Opening – The  wildlife sanctuary is open on all days from 7AM to 6PM

5. Kanger Ghati National park 

Location – Situated on river Kolab, this 34Km long park is 27 km away from Jagdalpur


Highlights – The highlight of this Park is its Location and surrounding, the Park is surrounded by a rich biodiversity of fauna like Chikara, barking deer, Chital, jackal, hyena, wild boar, buck, drongo and some rare mouse deer. You can show your kids the animal world over here instead of showing them in the animal book, apart from this, the rich flora like fungi, algae, bryophytes and pteridophytes add beauty to the park. Last but not the least complete the trip by taking the Safari rides.
Established during 1982, the Kanger Valley National Park is bounded by numerous villages on all of its sides. Deriving its name from the Kanger River, this National Park Is declared as one of the Asian Biosphere Reserve.

Opening time– The Park is open on all weekdays from 7AM to 6PM.
